MILITARY CAREER
Twenty-six years in the United States Army Special Forces and Airborne Infantry, including two combat tours in Vietnam (1966-67 & 1971-72) and five years in the 101st Airborne Division.

Skill Qualifications include the Expert Infantry Badge (EIB); Special Forces Qualification Course; Combat Infantry Badge (CIB); Jump Master Qualification Badge; Jungle Operations Training Course Badge; Army Commendation Medal (4); Army Meritorious Service Medal (3); and, four awards of the Bronze Star Medal.

Life Membership in the Special Forces Association (SFA), the Special Operations Association (SOA), the Band of Brothers, and 101st Airborne Division Association.
